  • Sentinelles Network: incidence of acute respiratory infections at 20 per 100,000 inhabitants in S21 (10 in S20).

  • SOS-Médecins: Stable activity regarding COVID-19 cases; 5% of consultations were for COVID-19 in Week 21.

  • Emergency departments: Declining activity regarding COVID-19 cases; 1.1% of visits were COVID-19-related in Week 21.

  • Facilities caring for dependent elderly individuals: 2,798 cases among residents and 483 deaths as of May 26. The number of new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported since the last epidemiological update remains low.

  • Hospitalized cases: downward trend in hospitalizations and ICU admissions of COVID-19 patients; 959 hospitalized cases as of May 26, including 92 in the ICU; 889 hospitalized patients have died since the start of the epidemic.
