Laboratories: a total of 14,476 positive test results as of April 26, 2020, including 1,144 in week 17 (W17) and 1,705 in week 16 (W16).
Sentinelles Network: incidence of acute respiratory infections of 17 per 100,000 inhabitants in W17 (102 in W16).
SOS-Médecins: downward trend in COVID-19-related visits; 7% of consultations were COVID-19-related in W17.
Emergency departments: downward trend in COVID-19 visits; 5% of visits were COVID-19-related in W17.
Facilities caring for dependent elderly individuals: 2,936 cases among residents and 388 deaths as of April 27. The number of reported COVID-19 cases has been steadily decreasing since March 31.
Hospitalized cases: downward trend in hospitalizations and ICU admissions of COVID-19 patients; 1,640 hospitalized cases as of April 28, including 287 in the ICU; 670 hospitalized patients have died since the start of the epidemic.
Sentinel intensive care units: 77% of cases had at least one risk factor as of April 28; invasive ventilation was required for 69% of cases.
All-cause mortality: significant increase in all-cause mortality in several departments of the region during weeks 14 to 16.
