Food procurement strategies of residents in poor and outlying neighborhoods.
Nutritionists, geographers, and sociologists have investigated the food procurement practices of residents in disadvantaged neighborhoods in Marseille. While the study’s small sample size does not allow for definitive conclusions at this stage, the findings reveal the mobility of a population with very limited resources and suggest their ability to make the most of their meager incomes.
