Over the past week in the region:

• The number of diagnoses of asthma attacks and nasopharyngitis remains low. An increase is expected in the coming weeks (usually week 38).

• Compared to previous years, there has been an increase in the proportion of serogroup C among cases of invasive meningococcal infections.

• Lower temperatures and prevailing headwinds limited the expected increase in mosquito bites in the Nantes metropolitan area at the end of last week.

• Other regional indicators remain below alert thresholds.

• Resurgence since late August of new cases of coronavirus infection diagnosed in Saudi Arabia. No new cases confirmed in France since May 2013.
