Over the past week in the region:
A slight increase in SOS Médecins consultations for bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age, just reaching the threshold level. At the emergency department of Nantes University Hospital, visits for bronchiolitis remain below the alert threshold. A few rare cases of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) isolation.
Decrease in SOS Médecins consultations and emergency room visits for asthma attacks in children aged 2 to 15 years. There was also a significant decrease in SOS Médecins consultations for nasopharyngitis, coinciding with the reported decline in rhinovirus circulation by the Nantes University Hospital laboratory.
96 cases of mushroom poisoning have been reported in the region by the CAPTV since July, including 9 in the past week.
Resurgence of clusters of acute respiratory infections (ARI) in nursing homes, with 14 new clusters since the beginning of September.
