Epidemiological Surveillance in the Pays de la Loire Region. Update as of November 15, 2017.

Over the past week in the region:

The number of SOS Médecins consultations for bronchiolitis in infants under 2 years of age continues to rise, remaining above the alert threshold, in contrast to pediatric emergency room visits, where a decrease (below the threshold) was observed last week. An increase in respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) isolates has begun, primarily in Angers. Following outbreaks in the region earlier this summer, the number of hepatitis A cases has not decreased in the Loire-Atlantique department, with 7 to 9 cases reported per month since September.Eighty-nine percent of the cases involved men, linked to the ongoing epidemic among men who have sex with men (MSM).
