Over the past week in the region:

The flu epidemic is now considered over. Emergency room visits and calls to SOS Médecins for flu-like symptoms are below alert thresholds. The number of severe flu cases hospitalized in intensive care in the region was significant (104 cases). Nearly 60% were young patients, under the age of 65. One new case of severe flu was hospitalized last week. The gastroenteritis outbreak continues to decline. Enteric viruses are still circulating among children under 5 years of age. As the winter season has ended, we will reduce the frequency of the Epidemiological Update.
