Over the past week in the region:

• The flu outbreak is still active in the region,

• ICU units have reported 15 cases of severe flu since February,

• the number of emergency room visits by people aged 75 and older remains high but is decreasing,

• a slight increase in the number of deaths among people aged 85 and older compared to the expected number for the season,

• a decrease in the number of clusters of acute respiratory infections (ARI) in facilities housing the elderly,

• moderate persistence of gastroenteritis cases.
