Over the past week in the region:

• The flu epidemic continues to decline in the region’s outpatient care sector, with a decrease in the number of consultations for flu-like symptoms (SOS Médecins and the Unified Grog-Sentinelles-InVS Network).

• Six new reports of severe influenza were received last week and five during week 10, for a total of 45 cases reported by intensive care units, the vast majority of which were type A.

• The season is characterized by a low number of reports of clusters of acute respiratory infections in nursing homes.

• The number of gastroenteritis cases seen by SOS Médecins continues to decline, and the number of acute gastroenteritis outbreaks in nursing homes has stabilized.
