Regional Update as of July 24, 2012

Over the past week in the region:

• The 2012 Heat Wave and Health Alert System (SACS), established under the National Heat Wave Plan, has been active since June 1,

• Increase in the number of enterovirus meningitis cases at Nantes University Hospital,

• The number of emergency room visits by people over the age of 75 is slightly above the thresholds at three hospitals in the region.
