Regional Update as of July 10, 2012

Over the past week in the region:

• The 2012 Heat Wave and Health Alert System (SACS), established by the National Heat Wave Plan, has been active since June 1,

• No significant increase in the various indicators monitored for the summer season.

• The number of emergency room visits by people over 75 is slightly above the thresholds in two hospitals in the region.
