A multicenter epidemiological study of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infections in hospitals in the Pays de la Loire region
[NOTE: This article, published in issue 23 of the BEH, contains an error. A corrected version is available in issue 27] The Hospital-Acquired Infection Control Committees (C.L.I.N.) of hospitals in the Pays de la Loire region have formed an association to carry out joint initiatives. Among these actions is the eradication of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections within their hospitals. The first phase of this eradication program aims to assess the extent of the problem as well as the infection prevention practices and protocols currently in place in these facilities.
