Epidemiological Situation

Since June, there has been an increase in visits for flu-like symptoms at primary care clinics and emergency departments, accompanied by an increase in the number of influenza viruses isolated in Réunion. To date, three patients with a severe form of virologically confirmed influenza have been admitted to the intensive care unit and have been discharged with a favorable prognosis.
