Chikungunya
Since August 23, 2024, 783 cases of chikungunya have been reported on the island, including 671 in 2025.
The outbreak continues, with 204 cases detected in S05. Cases are now being reported in 19 municipalities.
Reunion remains in the midst of a chikungunya epidemic.
Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI)
For influenza, bronchiolitis, and COVID-19, health indicators remain at baseline levels with limited health impact.
Gastroenteritis
Health indicators remain at baseline levels.
Leptospirosis
The first cases of 2025 have been reported to the CVAGS (fewer than 5 cases).
