Chikungunya

• To date, and since August 23, 44 locally acquired cases of chikungunya have been reported. They are currently distributed across three active outbreaks—including the very active one in Etang Salé (20 cases).

Acute respiratory infection

• A sharp increase in emergency room visits and hospitalizations due to bronchiolitis in S49, with a significant public health impact.

Acute gastroenteritis

• Decrease in activity related to gastroenteritis.
