Chikungunya
Since the beginning of 2025, more than 27,000 cases of chikungunya have been reported on the island.
The epidemic is ongoing and widespread throughout the territory. Indicators related to chikungunya in primary care, emergency departments, and hospitals continue to rise.
Since March 10, 36 severe cases of chikungunya have been reported, including 16 in newborns or infants who presented with a severe clinical condition requiring intensive care.
Leptospirosis
Increase in the number of weekly reports received by the ARS: 17 new cases reported, bringing the total to 59 since the start of the year; a seasonal resurgence is currently underway.
Acute respiratory infections
Indicators in community practice and hospitals have remained at low levels with no public health impact for several weeks.
