  • The epidemic is ongoing and widespread throughout the territory. Indicators related to chikungunya in primary care, emergency departments, and hospitals continue to rise.

  • Since March 10, 36 severe cases of chikungunya have been reported, including 16 in newborns or infants who presented with a severe clinical condition requiring intensive care.

Leptospirosis

  • Increase in the number of weekly reports received by the ARS: 17 new cases reported, bringing the total to 59 since the start of the year; a seasonal resurgence is currently underway.

Acute respiratory infections

  • Indicators in community practice and hospitals have remained at low levels with no public health impact for several weeks.
