Epidemiological Situation

Despite a slight downward trend that needs to be confirmed in the coming weeks, the dengue virus continues to circulate actively on the island. The onset of viral circulation has been detected in three new municipalities (Saint-Paul, Saint-Denis, and Les Avirons). In light of this situation, Level 2B of the Orsec Plan’s arbovirus control measures (“Intensification of local viral circulation and risk of progression to an epidemic”) remains in effect.
