  • Since Week 11, 36 severe cases of chikungunya have been reported, including 16 in newborns or infants who presented with a severe clinical condition requiring intensive care.

  • Dengue transmission is currently low on the island, with only about 30 cases detected since the beginning of the year and a single locally acquired case in week 13. All cases were geographically scattered.
