Reunion Island: Community Engagement at the Heart of Vector Control Efforts.

A look back at the evolution of the vector control program (VCP) in Réunion; the authors describe this strategy, which involved, on the one hand, the gradual phasing out of insecticide treatments in favor of prevention efforts carried out by field teams, and, on the other hand, the strengthening of operational response capabilities as soon as the very first cases of dengue or chikungunya appeared.
