Assessment of health risks associated with exposure among heavy consumers of river fish products contaminated with environmental toxins
The objective of this study is to assess the health risks associated with the consumption of river fish from the Adour-Garonne basin that may be contaminated with trace metals. The fish species selected, in accordance with the AFSSA’s recommendation, are eels and predatory fish (zander, pike, black bass, and perch).
