In Occitanie, since May 1, 2017, 66 suspected cases have been reported in the 10 departments under enhanced surveillance:

• - no locally transmitted cases have been confirmed

• - 19 imported cases (i.e., returning from areas where the virus is circulating) of dengue, 3 of Zika, 1 of flavivirus, and 0 of chikungunya have been confirmed

Nationwide, from May 1 to September 8, 2017:

• - Since August 11, 2017, an outbreak of local transmission of chikungunya has been identified in a neighborhood of the town of Le Cannet-des-Maures (Var). As of September 7, 2017, 6 confirmed cases and 2 probable cases have been identified.

• - 98 imported cases of dengue (i.e., from travelers returning from areas where the virus is circulating), 9 cases of Zika, 4 cases of flavivirus, and 3 cases of chikungunya have been confirmed
