Surveillance and Prevention of Healthcare-Associated Infections - 10 years of progress: The Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) program has been implemented since 2001 by the Department of Infectious Diseases at the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS) in collaboration with the InVS regional branches (Cire) and numerous partners: Centers for the Coordination of the Fight Against Healthcare-Associated Infections (CClin), Regional Branches for the Control of Healthcare-Associated Infections (Arlin), National Reference Centers (CNR), and healthcare facilities under the umbrella of plans and programs defined by the Ministry of Health. The InVS, the Directorate General for Health (DGS), and the Directorate General for Healthcare Provision (DGOS) are deeply involved in this fight against healthcare-associated infections, and this commitment took shape 10 years ago with the creation of the Network for Alert, Investigation, and Surveillance of Healthcare-Associated Infections (Raisin).
