Key Points

Bronchiolitis: The outbreak has not yet begun in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, where visits to emergency rooms and SOS Médecins remain low. In France, visits are increasing, both in clinics and hospitals, and appear to be more intense than in the previous two years for weeks 45 and 46.

Gastroenteritis: In the Languedoc-Roussillon region, while emergency room visits remain low, week 46 of 2015 saw a sharp increase (+60%) in gastroenteritis diagnoses in the Perpignan and Nîmes areas.

Asthma: Emergency room visits for asthma are rising again in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, though they have not exceeded the level observed in October.

Pneumonia: low activity in the region and across France.
