Key Points

  • Bronchiolitis: low activity in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, although the epidemic has begun based on national data. The epidemic is active mainly in northern France, as is typically observed;

  • Influenza / Influenza-like illnesses: low activity in the Languedoc-Roussillon region and in France; however, a few sporadic cases have been reported in outpatient settings.

  • Gastroenteritis: although the Sentinelles network provides an incidence rate estimate for the Languedoc-Roussillon region that is close to the national epidemic threshold (unconsolidated data), the other regional indicators monitored for this disease do not show any particular trend.
