Public Health Surveillance in Languedoc-Roussillon. Epidemiological Update as of February 6, 2014.

Key Points

  • Flu: active outbreak in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, with a sharp increase in all monitored indicators; although less pronounced, an upward trend is observed for all indicators across France;

  • Gastroenteritis: although cases are still being reported in SOS Médecins data, the outbreak appears to be becoming less active in the Languedoc-Roussillon region;

  • Bronchiolitis: activity remains stable at a still-high level, but is expected to decline in the coming weeks, both in Languedoc-Roussillon and across France;

Note: No data from SOS Médecins has been included since February 3 due to a technical issue.
