  • Bronchiolitis: The number of emergency department visits diagnosed as bronchiolitis continued to rise in week 2014-49 in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The observed trend is relatively similar to those of the two previous epidemic seasons. Use of SOS Médecins services is relatively low and lower than in previous years.

  • Gastroenteritis: In the region and in France, emergency department visits are not increasing, while calls to SOS Médecins have risen significantly in France between weeks 2014-48 and 49. The Sentinelles network is observing a trend toward an increase in cases of gastroenteritis.

  • Flu-like syndromes: low flu activity in the Languedoc-Roussillon region and in France.
