  • Increase between August 18, 2023, and August 23, 2023, in the proportion of hospitalizations following visits due to heatwave among coded hospitalizations (age 75 and older and all ages), in the proportion of emergency room visits due to heatwave among coded visits (age 75 and older and all ages), the proportion of SOS Médecins procedures for heat-related emergencies among coded procedures (all ages). On August 24, the increase in the proportion of SOS procedures and hospitalizations following emergency department visits for heat-related emergencies continued, but there was a decrease in emergency department visits; this trend is expected to be confirmed as data becomes more complete.
