  • Surveillance of vector-borne diseases: No cases of chikungunya or dengue have been reported since surveillance began in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.

  • Respiratory diseases: - asthma: increase in emergency room visits typical for this time of year - pneumonia: low activity - acute lower respiratory infections: slight increase in emergency room visits - bronchitis: slight increase in emergency room activity related to bronchitis, more marked increase for SOS Médecins. - Bronchiolitis: slight increase in emergency department visits for children under 2 years of age, typically observed prior to the epidemic. Rhinovirus is circulating!

  • Gastroenteritis: The Sentinelles network estimated that the incidence rate in the Languedoc-Roussillon region was above the national epidemic threshold (unconsolidated data). Data reported by emergency departments and SOS Médecins associations do not show any particular trend for this condition.
