  • In Occitanie, according to data available as of September 22, 2022, for week 37 of 2022, virological indicators showed a marked increase compared to the previous week, particularly incidence and testing rates: a positivity rate of 19.3% (+2 percentage points compared to week 36 of 2022), incidence rate of 258 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (+42%), and testing rate of 1,340 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (+27%). At the regional level, these indicators were increasing in most age groups, with the exception of the positivity rate among those under 15, where this indicator was decreasing.

  • The R-value estimated from regional SI-DEP data through September 17, 2022, was 1.21 (1.19–1.23), an increase compared to the previous week (0.94).
