COVID-19

  • In Occitanie, according to data available as of October 20, 2022, for week 41 of 2022, virological indicators were stable compared to the previous week, with a positivity rate of 24.9%, an incidence rate of 438 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, and a testing rate of 1,754 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. At the regional level, incidence and positivity rates were decreasing among those under 15, stable among those aged 15–64, and slightly increasing among those aged 65 and older.

  • The R-value estimated from regional SI-DEP data through October 15, 2022, was 1.04 (1.02–1.05), down from the previous week (1.19).

  • Low activity in private practice (SOS Médecins) and low in hospital settings (Oscour® network).

Bronchiolitis

  • Oscour®: Consultations for a diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age were on the rise compared to previous weeks.

  • SOS Médecins: procedures for the diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age were on the rise compared to previous weeks.

  • Virological data: circulation of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) was stable with a few cases compared to the previous week.
