Key Points

In Occitanie, from May 1 to August 19, 2025, the following were identified:

• 78 imported cases of dengue, 91 imported cases of chikungunya, and 1 imported case of Zika

• 33 locally transmitted cases of chikungunya: 18 in Gard and 15 in Hérault (see below).

• 1 locally acquired case of dengue: in the Lot (see below).

To limit the risk of local transmission, 243 entomological surveys and 153 vector control treatments were carried out in the vicinity of the cases.
