In the Gard department, the General Council’s dental service focuses on preventive care, primarily in first-grade classrooms. A dentist conducts informational sessions and then performs a dental exam on each child. If the dentist identifies a need for treatment, they notify the parents. PMI staff are also trained in preventive care.
