The annual skin cancer prevention and screening day organized by the Syndicat des Dermatologues vénéréologues (SNDV) on May 24 is an opportunity for public authorities to highlight the importance of prevention and early detection of skin cancer, as well as the risks associated with exposure to artificial or natural UV radiation in the development of these cancers, the number of cases of which has been steadily increasing for the past 30 years.
