Mortality: The number of deaths (all ages, 75 and older) recorded in recent weeks is consistent with the values typically observed during this season.
Emergency room visits by vulnerable populations: Activity related to emergency room visits by vulnerable populations (75 years and older and under 1 year of age) remains below alert thresholds and close to expected levels.
Reportable Diseases (MDO)No notable changes this week.
ChickenpoxAccording to the SOS Médecins associations, activity for chickenpox remains high and is increasing compared to the previous week, though values remain below the alert threshold.
Acute Gastroenteritis (AG) Both nationally and regionally, the number of consultations for acute gastroenteritis in hospital emergency departments and private practices is low.
Vector-borne diseases In Lot-et-Garonne, since the resumption of enhanced surveillance for chikungunya and dengue on May 1 (see procedure on page 8), one imported case of dengue has been confirmed by the CNR for arboviruses.
Asthma and Allergies Asthma activity is down compared to last week based on emergency department data, and relatively stable according to SOS Médecins data. Allergy activity is relatively stable in France as well as in Aquitaine.
Heat-related illnesses: Low activity according to the Oscour® network and SOS Médecins associations.
School Absenteeism In S24, the overall school absenteeism rate is stable.
