Recent Opinions and Reports from the High Council for Public Health

Since the project launched in January 2012, more than 4,400 people from all French departments have registered with GrippeNet.fr. In week 13 of 2012, 78% of participants reported having no symptoms.

Changes in indicators for the week of March 26, 2012, to April 1, 2012:

  • Influenza: increase in the incidence rate of consultations for flu-like symptoms in private practice compared to the previous week (unified network)

  • Bronchiolitis: low activity and steadily decreasing

  • Gastroenteritis: moderate activity for SOS Médecins and in emergency departments

  • Activity in private practice and hospital emergency departments: stable for SOS Médecins Côte Basque and Pau (data not available for Bordeaux) and in emergency departments
