Mortality
: Following the moderate increase observed in civil registry data for Q4 2022, mortality rates remain at levels comparable to those typically seen during this period.
Emergency room visits by vulnerable populations
No significant changes in emergency room visits for children under 1 year of age and adults over 75 years of age, with figures close to expected levels.
Reportable Diseases (MDO)
No notable changes this week.
Enterovirus meningitis
Persistent circulation of the virus in Aquitaine according to the virology department at Bordeaux University Hospital and emergency department visits for enterovirus meningitis.
Acute gastroenteritis (AGE) AGE
activity in hospital and pre-hospital emergency departments (SOS Médecins) remains stable in Aquitaine and across France, with low case numbers similar to previous years.
Influenza and influenza-like illnesses
Influenza activity comparable to the previous week. No severe cases admitted to intensive care have been reported in Aquitaine.
Bronchiolitis
Activity is stable in Aquitaine according to SOS Médecins and Oscour®; a decrease has been observed at the national level. Aqui Respi treated 73 children for care from November 9 to 11 (including 66 over the first two days, a figure half that of last year during the same period).
Vector-borne diseases
In Lot-et-Garonne, under enhanced surveillance for chikungunya and dengue, no significant developments to report (total remains unchanged at 2 confirmed imported cases of dengue).
Mushroom poisoning
Since July 2013, 71 cases according to CAPTV and 18 according to Oscour® in Aquitaine (1,135 and 389 in France). In total, 3 deaths in France (0 in Aquitaine).
Carbon monoxide poisoning
Since September 2013, 2 incidents and 3 people transported to emergency rooms in Aquitaine (163 incidents, 490 people exposed, and 4 deaths nationwide).
School Absenteeism Overall
absenteeism rate remains stable. No single health-related cause was predominantly reported.
