In week 50 (December 7–13), the number of new confirmed COVID-19 cases tended to stabilize, with approximately 5,100 new confirmed cases recorded in the region. The incidence rate is also stabilizing at 85.0 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. This trend is observed across all age groups, except for those aged 75 and older, where a decline in the incidence rate is observed. The positivity rate has been stabilizing for the past three weeks, standing at 4.7% in week 50 compared to 5.2% in week 49. This stabilization is observed across all age groups. The testing rate increased slightly, with 1,790 tests per 100,000 inhabitants in week 50.
