High number of imported dengue cases reported at the start of 2025, particularly linked to the ongoing epidemic in Guadeloupe;
Significant increase in the number of imported chikungunya cases in March and April 2025, linked to the high-intensity outbreak in Réunion (which is still ongoing).
Data from May 1 to June 3, 2025 – Enhanced surveillance
43 imported cases of dengue and 71 imported cases of chikungunya identified as probable or confirmed, and no imported cases of Zika;
Most cases involved travel to an overseas department or region;
54 entomological surveys (mosquito searches) and 18 vector control treatments carried out around cases residing in or visiting the region.
