News Update. Bulletin No. 34 for Upper and Lower Normandy. September 2014.

Monitoring of Activity Indicators for Emergency Departments and SAMU Services in Upper Normandy: Period from June 1, 2014, to August 31, 2014. The data presented in this document (pages 1–3) are sourced from the Regional Monitoring and Alert Server (SRVA), which receives data from all emergency facilities in the region. Cire Normandie uses only data regarding the total number of visits and visits by age group (< 1 year and > 75 years) and the number of hospitalizations following visits to emergency facilities (Table 1). These data allow only for quantitative monitoring of the activity of the emergency facilities in question and do not allow for an assessment of the reasons for seeking care at emergency facilities.
