Influenza-related activity in primary care and hospitals has plateaued, likely due to school holidays. This situation is expected to continue during the second week of the holidays.Influenza B virus is highly prevalent in positive influenza samples, primarily affecting children and adolescents. Nationally, the influenza epidemic has spread to all regions of mainland France. After three weeks of the epidemic, the number of severe cases remained well below that observed in recent seasons.
