In mainland France, according to Inserm’s Sentinelles network, the incidence rate of acute diarrhea cases seen in general practice was estimated at 90 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in week 2012-20, compared with 103 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in week 2012-19. The epidemic threshold was 162 cases per 100,000 inhabitants for week 2012-20.
