Key points

Bronchiolitis

  • Normandy has been in the epidemic phase for the fourth consecutive week. A decrease in activity at emergency departments and SOS Médecins was observed last week. The proportion of RSV isolated by virology laboratories was decreasing but remained at a high level. The circulation of rhinovirus and enterovirus was also decreasing.

COVID-19

  • For the past six weeks, all indicators of COVID-19 activity have continued to decline in Normandy, except among those aged 80 and older, where a slight increase was observed.

Acute Respiratory Infections

  • Activity remained stable at SOS Médecins and in emergency departments, though with age-related disparities consistent with the trends in the indicators presented above.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • The proportion of cases involving acute gastroenteritis increased slightly at SOS Médecins but remained at a moderate level. Indicators for emergency departments remained stable and at a low level.
