COVID-19
In Week 50, the circulation of SARS-CoV-2 in the region began to decline. Virological indicators (calculated based on all tests) were decreasing. Indicators of pre-hospital care utilization were stable for SOS Médecins and increasing for emergency department visits. A decrease was also observed for hospital indicators, except for the number of patients admitted to general inpatient units, where an increase was observed.
Bronchiolitis
Decrease in indicators for emergency department visits and SOS Médecins consultations. Activity remained high, however.
Influenza and influenza-like illnesses
A sharp increase in emergency department visits, virology cases, and SOS Médecins consultations.
Acute gastroenteritis
Decrease in the number of SOS Médecins consultations and emergency department visits, with activity levels remaining low and similar to those of the 2021–2022 season.
