Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes
1,544 cases, including 178 deaths reported as of April 22
Hospital surveillance
Oscour® network: 402 visits for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 (Week S, 483 in Week S-1)
Hospital laboratories: 10% of tests positive (Week S, 15% in Week S-1)
Sentinel intensive care units: 55% of cases aged 65 and older, and 65% of cases with at least one risk factor
Mortality surveillance
A moderate excess in all-cause mortality across all age groups was observed in the region during week S-1, primarily in Seine-Maritime, Eure, and Manche.
