Key Points
Since May 1, 2022, the Île-de-France region has reported the highest number of arbovirus cases in mainland France, with 71 confirmed/probable cases of dengue and 8 confirmed cases of chikungunya, all linked to imported cases.
The confirmed cases of dengue were mostly imported from the Americas and Asia.
As of January 1, 2022, 67 departments are considered to be colonized by the mosquito (out of 96 metropolitan departments), including all 8 departments in the Île-de-France region.
As of July 1, 2022, there are 54 colonized municipalities in the Île-de-France region, spread across all departments.
