  • Since May 1, 2022, the Île-de-France region has reported the highest number of arbovirus cases in mainland France, with 71 confirmed/probable cases of dengue and 8 confirmed cases of chikungunya, all linked to imported cases.

  • The confirmed cases of dengue were mostly imported from the Americas and Asia.

  • As of January 1, 2022, 67 departments are considered to be colonized by the mosquito (out of 96 metropolitan departments), including all 8 departments in the Île-de-France region.

  • As of July 1, 2022, there are 54 colonized municipalities in the Île-de-France region, spread across all departments.
