Amid this heatwave, Météo-France issued the following alert: All departments (Paris, Seine-et-Marne, Yvelines, Essonne, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Val-d’Oise) in the Île-de-France region were placed under a yellow alert on Friday, June 28, 2025. As of June 29, 2025, all eight departments in the Île-de-France region were placed under an orange heat wave alert. On June 30, 2025, Météo-France announced that all departments in the region were placed under a red heat wave alert effective at 12:00 PM on July 1, 2025.
A regional analysis of emergency care utilization indicates an increase in visits and a stable rate of hospitalizations following emergency room visits for the composite health indicator iCanicule (including hyperthermia, dehydration, and hyponatremia) during the period from June 29, 2025, to June 30, 2025.
The regional analysis of SOS Médecins consultations also indicates an increase in the composite health indicator iCanicule (heatstroke, dehydration) throughout the entire episode
