Key Points

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • 437 confirmed or probable cases of imported dengue fever have been investigated in Île-de-France.

COVID-19

  • Decrease in indicators for outpatient care and stabilization in emergency departments.

  • Increase in the level of SARS-CoV-2 circulation in wastewater.

Bronchiolitis

  • Stabilization of emergency department visits for bronchiolitis among children under one year of age, as well as visits followed by hospitalization, compared to week 39.

  • Increase in calls to SOS Médecins for bronchiolitis in children under two years of age. Few laboratory detections of RSV.

Flu

  • Increase in healthcare utilization for flu-like illness, whether in emergency departments, through the SOS Médecins network, or within the Sentinelles network.

  • Hospitalizations following emergency department visits, however, were decreasing.

  • Few influenza viruses detected in the laboratory.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Increase in indicators, mainly among those under 15 years of age, compared to S39.

  • Low activity levels among SOS Médecins associations and in hospital emergency departments.
