Key Points

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • 443 confirmed or probable cases of imported dengue fever have been investigated in Île-de-France.

COVID-19

  • Stabilization of indicators for outpatient care and a decrease in emergency room visits.

  • Decrease in the level of SARS-CoV-2 circulation in wastewater.

Bronchiolitis

  • Increase in emergency department visits for bronchiolitis among children under one year of age, as well as visits followed by hospitalization, compared to week 40.

  • Increase in calls to SOS Médecins for bronchiolitis in children under two years of age. Few laboratory detections of RSV.

Influenza

  • In hospitals, stabilization of emergency department visits for influenza-like illness across different age groups and a decrease in the number of hospitalizations following emergency department visits.

  • In the community, healthcare utilization for influenza-like illness was decreasing among SOS Médecins patients and increasing within the Sentinelles network.

  • Few influenza viruses detected in laboratories.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Increase in indicators, primarily among those under 15 years of age, compared to S40 in emergency departments.

  • Stabilization of all indicators in private practice.

  • Low activity levels at SOS Médecins clinics and in hospital emergency departments.
