  • Since the start of enhanced surveillance in the region, 68 cases of arboviral diseases—57 confirmed and 11 probable—have been identified in Île-de-France, including 67 cases of dengue and 1 case of chikungunya, all of which were imported.

  • The cases were imported from the Caribbean (36), Latin America (12), Asia (11), sub-Saharan Africa (8), and 1 undocumented case. Among the cases, 63 (93%) were potentially viremic in Île-de-France, and 31 (45.6%) resided in municipalities in the region colonized by the “tiger mosquito” (Aedes albopictus).
