Week 52:

  • A significant increase in the number of calls to SOS Médecins concerning people aged 75 and older, with figures higher than those observed in the same period over the past two years. The most common reasons for calls were flu-like symptoms, respiratory conditions, isolated fevers, and gastroenteritis;

  • for the flu, a marked increase in visits to hospital emergency rooms for adults aged 15 and older, and the national epidemic threshold being exceeded for the second consecutive week;

  • for gastroenteritis, a marked increase in visits to hospital emergency departments and SOS Médecins for adults aged 15 and older, with the national epidemic threshold also being exceeded for the second consecutive week.
